How will the Search and Destroy team manage to get their job done without Otter products. wink

A little faster and more efficient to be honest wink

Ribbing aside, we are excited to have Chris on the team. It's no question the value he brings to educating the fishing world and the openness he has for communicating his skills to the community. A lot of people have learned from Chris and he never bats an eye at helping someone. We look forward to his teachings here in the future and the knowledge he brings from his experience and time spent out on the ice.

The mobility factor that Clam/Ice Team preaches is right up Chris' alley, and he will fall right in line!

We enjoy working with others who share the same passion we do and welcome opportunity to have someone like Chris join our elite group of Pros!

Yes, congrats to Chris, its well deserved and I have no doubts he will be a great addition to the Team and also find their partner’s products to be top notch.

I predict lots of exclamation points and big crappie pictures this winter. That is something you can take to the bank.  smile

Thanks Boys!! As excited as I am to be a part of the Ice Team, I am equally as excited to work shoulder to shoulder with Matt Johnson. While some may have previously viewed Matt and I as Blue versus Red, I would guess both of us harness the same philosophy when it comes to the general promotion of the sport we love. Stepping aside from the branding of product which of course is simply the business side of any industry; Everyone truly is on the same team as it pertains to educating, promoting and passing on passion for the sport we love. The philosphy of splitting a small pie versus growing it is something I have always embraced.

My decision to join Matt and the rest of the talented crew at Clam corp/Ice Team, was a decision made by Kelly and I to enable us to further touch a growing group of men and women who love staring down an 8 inch hole. I actually cut me teeth with Clam products and Vexilars. Before that the old Green Box......that now sits in our guest cabin.

I have great respect for the companies in which I have worked with over the years and continue to work with. On the ice through my guide service I also tune in Humminbirds..... Beyond great products there are many great men and women behind the scenes. Many of these individuals are people I consider good friends. While I may differ slightly with others interpretation of a Staff position, I believe we highlight the specific benefits of a product and or service that best enable success. The angling community then can select the product an service that best fits their needs. There is little question my previous alliance with companies found me placing emphasis on there strong points within certain products. With that being said my choice to join forces with Clam corp. was also because there are products I wanted to align myself with and benefit within those items I need in my guide service.

I will continue do my best to provide an element of Passion, knowledge and good natured fun within the great sport of ice fishing for many years to come. We greatly appreciate this chance to be part of this classy organization.

Thanks to Matt Johnson, Clam Corp, and the entire Ice Team Staff for accepting us to your "Blue Ice".

9 years ago on a small lake in northern Minnesota I shared a sheet of ice with Dave Genz. He had never met me before. I was just an angler and he was "Mr. Ice Fishing". Still Dave treated me with great respect and we enjoyed breakfast and a day catching big panfish. Actually I will never forget him lacing up a 12 inch Bluegill that day. I wonder if he remembers that. Life tends to run full circle. Now Dave and I will be on the same team. Don't think for a second we won't be trying to catch that 12 1/4!! LOL!!
