We got an afternoon walk in. It was a December like walk with the amount of snow but at least with it being fairly fresh it was still pretty soft and quiet. That’ll be over soon though with melt coming.
Found the birds grouped tight And jumpy like December too but managed to get a couple nice rudys. Traverse county.
from what we are seeing here in meeker county the road side report is off.
we are seeing birds but not as many as anticipated. I talked to the farmer that
has the land by my land when he was combining corn he wasn't seeing any more
then years past.
Where’s all the pheasant reports? Thankfully the heat is gone and even better the snow is here! The birds this morning didn’t know what to do in this fresh snow.
My 8 month old puppy is coming along nicely.
There's no need to worry about good batteries stored over the winter. You don't need to take them out of the boat and lug them down to the basement. Make sure the water level is full and they're fully charged. Then disconnect ALL the leads. Tie-wrap the positives together and the negatives together. That way, next spring, you'll be sure to clean all the terminals. Attached are voltage readings from my batteries before and after storage and a chart of charge percentage at different voltage levels.
i finally figured out why i have so many robins hanging around yet. the neighbor has a couple of them mountain ash trees, i think??? LOL! that has the berries on them. they sure are hanging around that tree. some even act like there a little loopy!!!!!
