Just got a TriStar o/u shotgun used at a pawn shop and when you fire the second shot the breach opens without touching the lever any information on a fix would be appreciated i am a pretty good gunsmith but this has me a little confused

Probably best to send it in. We have a TriStar tt-15 and its a great o/u for trap. 

 

My understanding is that the warranty doesn't transfer so you probably will be charged for service unless it's under a recall.

 

Otherwise there is a TriStar Facebook forum with lots of people and someone might be able to diagnose or try the trapshooters forum.
