T&G Cedar install

When installing T&G cedar on the interior of your fish house do you leave is a little loose or push it tight

I assuming you are putting on the 5/16 T & G? I pushed mine tight and face nailed. Two nails per stud

I installed last fall.

I did the same, but I see this summer it's starting to buckle

I ended up framing my house, putting on the T&G , and then spray foaming back against the interior, which may be why I am not seeing any movement... I also used pine vs cedar

I did 5/16" cedar and installed tight. Is there any finish on the cedar?

I did apply a sealer to the inside of the cedar.

It is so soft I wanted to prevent stains or finger prints
