I bought the Gen 3  Touch for my boat this year and then I decided to try to rig it up for Ice Fishing.  I brought it out over the holiday's and I loved it.  The only problem is that it went through my battery in approximately 2 hrs.  I was hoping for some advice on how to extend the life of the battery through the settings.

Turn down the ping speed, and the brightness of the backlight is where I would start.
