What a difference a week makes.

Finally, some cool weather! Now I am pumped. For those attending the hunt in Princeton this weekend we should have some fine walking weather. If I wasn't so busy at work I'd be out right now,then again maybe if I got back to work instead of thinking about grouse hunting I would be able to go....what a vicious circle.

I'm usually up letting the dog out before sunrise and it's really starting to feel like hunting season.

I've been out a couple times Grouse hunting and it's great walking through the woods with the dog, but I wouldn't complain if we had some cooler weather and less bugs.

Leaves are gonna be down soon!! Just over a week until I am after some Koochiching County grouse!!

Would be cool to have a dog like kenai to find me birds!!

Thanks jb, maybe if you talk real nice to Gerdy he could go bust some brush for you.

Gerdy is not as cute as Kenai.. lol. We will have a GSP with us but he is not as well trained as Kenai. Gerdy will not be there. I know I will be busting a LOT of brush.
