hmg.fishin.pro
Hi all. I was wondering if anybody could point me in the way of some public land for pheasant hunting. I tried down in Whitewater last year and only saw one bird. I would like to see more than one bird this year but I seem to be having quite a hard time finding any public land with more than one bird. FishinFix
Buy the red Minnesota atlas at any outdoor store. It has most of the public land listed. Great tool for hunting new areas. If you can't get on any private, drive to the nearest public.
gspman
Go to gander mtn and buy some prim maps for the areas you are interested in.
metrojoe
PRIM maps are great. I didn't know they sold them at Gander. I always go to the DNR building on Lafayette. I'll have to keep an eye out for them. You may want to direct your efforts more to West, Southwest Minnesota.Check the DNR site. they show the areas each PRIM maps covers.then you'll know which ones you need when you get there.
