Good year for Grouse?

Well people, I think this year will be pretty good for Grouse hunters. Not only are we starting the upswing in the cycle, but I've seen tons of grouse already this year, and have heard lots of birds drumming.

It's been several years since I've heard a grouse drumming and in the past month up on the Ironrange I've heard 5 separate drummings out in the woods, all 5 were different locations. Even while cruising down the back roads I've seen several coveys.
I'm getting excited now. I think we'll be having some fun this upcoming Fall.

Anybody else have any reports?

I don't like to say to much. But even after all the rain we got she's lookin real good........!!!!!!

Tons of birds around my cabin this year, and last year we had lots of young birds. The drumming has been going on like crazy this spring.
