Any ice reports as of yet? I figured it had to be a little colder up there than down here in southern mn

for what it's worth 4-5 inches on Red and guys are walking out.

Some smaller lakes and shallower bays of bigger lakes have 3-5 inches and are fishable around Deer River/Grand Rapids. Bigger lakes are just starting to close up.

Devils will be awhile yet, especially if we get the snow forecasted. Smaller bodies are iced up with a few inches, though.

Yeah that's kinda what I figured . A group of us are heading up there in early January and were just hoping for drivable ice by then. With the 6-10" of snow from this storm along with the lack of cold temps down in my area(Mankato), we won't even have walkable ice by the middle of Dec.

IT's going to have to get brutally cold in the next few weeks for drivable ice. They're forecasting temps in the 40s again this weekend. But, things can change in a hurry up here...

What is the latest on ice conditions?  Have not heard much, looking for the big perch.

You'd have better luck asking if anyone found a $20 bill on the ground. 

I know some of the bays of DL have fishable ice, and smaller slough are good to go.
