Got a new GSP pup!!!

Hey folks,
Picked up a new GSP pup on Saturday. A little female, all white (except the head of course) with liver ticks. Little Dixie is a nuclear powered ball of energy. Just what I love (and hate) about shorthairs. She's going to be quite a handful when she grows up. Very bold and independent for a 7 week old pup. She pointed the wing-on-a-string for a very long time on Sunday so she's got the instinct in her and she even had good style to boot. She's already giving my 10 year old shorthair all she can handle. Kinda fun having a pup around the house. The kids just love her. Gonna be a long winter with potty training though. Looking forward to this season with the old girl and hopefully some spring training with both next year. A wife, three young kids, and now 2 shorthairs! Am I nuts or what!

Congrats GSPMAN! I know what you mean with a family and 2 GSP's. I have 4 kids and tried to have 2 GSP's for 2 years, a pup and a 3 year old. After 2 years the pup went to the mother in law's.Mostly cause I couldn't break her car sickness. When I did get her them out hunting it was great to have 2 together. Have a blast and goodluck!
