What kind of blood is this?

Looks like lung blood, but I'm not 100%.

Looks like it to me. Pretty pink and frothy looking. Looks just like the lung blood you find stuck on the critter at the entrance and exit wounds of a lung shot.

Ok, so six hours of trailing didn't come up with much. The next image give an overview.  "Me" is where I was on stand and "doe" is where she was when I shot.  FB is first blood.  "Thick" is the big red blob up blood shown above.  All I ever found were a few drops and splashes here and there.  The arrow sounded like it was a body shot, but it was never found.  The thick blob was about 120 yards from the shot page and it was about another 120 yards to the last blood we found.  From there it just stopped.

Not how I wanted my first archery deer to go.  I feel like it's a fatal shot, but who knows.  I assume the arrow is still stuck in her?  That big field is corn and is being picked today.  I'll give it another look see tomorrow.

Keep high hopes ! I would guess one lung . And they can go a ways . But you will find her in the morning . It's a game of inches

The blood trail stopped at that bottom group of waypoints. The corn should be gone tomorrow, so hopefully I can find the arrow and the deer.  That glob of blood didn't have any bubbles, just thick and bright red.

Go ask the property owner to the south if you can check the farm road and woods in case there is blood over there.

No luck.  I went back today and walked the ditch and road to the south. No sign.  I didn't see anything in the field either.  The last spec of blood was in the grass right along that strip in the middle.  I walked that again to.  No other blood.  I was on stand again tonight and saw the two fawns, so she's either dead or laying somehwere.  I'm going to try and find out from the farmer if they came across her when the combined.
