bear hides

with the bear season in full boar and now the boarster gotz his bear got me thinking. what do all you bear hunters do with the hides?????????? I personally don't know what I would do with my next hide. I feel it would be a waste to throw it out but when I checked around last season no one was real interested in it. I know theres a guy in  perham that deals with all sorts of hides.

 

I have had 2 rugs made, one I had to throw out, bummer. have a shoulder mount and I had 3 pillows made out of 2 different hides so I am plum out of ideas when I get the next one!

Not even really worth selling, last hide I sold I got $35 for. I try to give mine away anymore, or pitch them.

if you feel that way smurf just get it tanned like a cyote or fox, neat conversation piece. I might be getting a head dress done like them hats and things that brian in perham dose but with a cap and paws coming over the shoulder

last hide i had tanned cost about 150 bucks. little spendy for a conversation piece. that headdress gonna be for poutfest!!!!!
