Early intensive harvest goose

Well it's started, early goose season is here. 

Who's hunting it??? If you get out please post up some pictures and share some stories. 

At at this point I think we are going to sit it out until September, but it's always fun to live through others.

This is is the closest we came to hunting today. Just playing in the yard.

I will be waiting until September also. Too much going on right now and I cant stand the heat.

I heard about 7-8 volleys this morning while out fishing. Sounded like some geese were being shot in the area! Also saw one bigger flock of geese.

Our season in ND opens the 15th. Unless I catch wind of a hot field, I'm going to wait until September. They're a lot more flocked up by then.

I didn't get out, but the friends who did said they've never seen so much pressure. Literally a rig and decoys at almost every harvested grain field. Apparently the NRs are really pumped about our 15-birds limit. 

It was tickling triple digits on opener in ND. I'm all for whacking some geese, but not in those conditions.
