Top Bass lakes around Park Rapids????

Well, if you're on Long, you have one right there.

In all seriousness, most of the lakes in that area have good bass fisheries. I've fished dozens in that area, and most of them are worth while. You won't have to go far. Spend a little time on the DNR's Lakefinder and look at some lake surveys, and pick a few to try.

We spend a week in the Park Rapids area about this time every year.  We are on Eagle but we also trailer the boat to various lakes looking for the bass gold mine.  Have yet to find it, but I'm sure that is due to the time of year!  Some lakes are a little better then others.  We have never been able to put together a solid pattern at this time of year.  We catch some on deep weedlines and some up shallow, with the deep fish being a little larger.  Don't overlook docks.  Obviously dusk and dawn are the best!

I know this isn't much help, but remember that bass fishing now, isn't what it was in June.  Just appreciate the beauty of the lakes in that area.

Good luck!

I was at a cabin on Little Man Trap this past weekend.  Beautiful lake with close to 15' water clarity.  Fishing was hit or miss and with the colder weather, there didn't seem to be many fish in shallow.  Got some decent bass on the weedline, but nothing to write home about.  The boat we were fishing out of didn't have electronics so trying to stay on the weedline with my Marcum was tricky.
