Just got this from Cabela's. Hoping to try it out on some legal MN waters soon. Hair jigs do well pre-spawn.

I used to tie hybrid hair and rubber and silicone jigs. Its not easy, especially with a weed guard in the way. The hair is nice because it helps with movement of the rubber and silicone as well as fills out the body of the jig to make it look more realistic, I also think the bucktails holds scents better. I still have quite a few that I had tied up.

Another great option is the Northstar Custom jigs Hairy Craw. It too is a hybrid. And I think I like the head design a little better. And he is a sponsor of our boards.. One of the best jigs I have seen in my opinion.
