I like the knockout qualifying but it doesn't work at restrictor plate tracks. They took the most prestigious race on the schedule and turned it into a 3-ring circus.

And in the end, the cream still rises...

Watching the last run was just more proof why HMR has been on top for so long. It took three runs for them figure out how to plan it right down to the second.

I still think NASCAR is gambling with other people's money for their own benefit but I'll have to say it's the first time in a long time I actually wanted to watch qualifying while watching paint dry (literally).

I feel bad for Clint though and the others' who's work was trashed in the first run. What a bummer.
