Help, spinning rod for 'eyes...

What are you going to use the rod for? Jigs? Spinners? Bottom Bouncers? Cranks? IMO there is no "one rod fits all". There are lots of good rods out there that are also pretty affordable.

If you're looking for one rod to kind of do everything, a 6'6" medium is a good starter rod. But I have a rod for just about every style of fishing I may do, and I wouldnt do it any other way.

I'd also check out the Scheels brand rods if you're around a Scheels. They come with lifetime warranties on them..if you break one fishing, you bring it into the store and they grab you a new one off the rack and your out the door. It's a sweet little deal.
