Ion blade cover

Anybody found a good alternative to the cheesy blade cover on an Ion?

I would like to know also,mine broke the end out of it when I tried to put it back on in the cold.

I've came pretty close to cutting my fingers putting that stupid cover for the 8" on. The 10" you can keep your fingers away from the blades since it's the round style.

I'm going to try mounting a couple rare earth magnets to mine like the snap covers and see how that works.
