Queenswake
Obviously I want the biggest sled I can easily pull without it being a real pain. What do you recommend? I really think I need to just mount the sled on skis so pulling is a breeze.

ClownColor
For me it's the smallest sled that I can easily fit all my stuff into.Skis or hyfax...or a well trained donkey can pull its wait in gold also.
Sherpa
I built a smitty sled this year and I am kicking myself for not having done it years ago. I can pull my otter lodge (which is pretty big) and all my gear with one hand pretty easily now when it was pretty tiring for me before. JoeMX1825
Smitty sled is a must, but to answer your question, I wouldn't want to pull anything larger than a Cottage by hand...I have a insulated cabin and it's pushing 150+ pounds loaded... Mr.Seaguar
In deep snow the biggest you want is the cottage
