Another reason to dump the block and mark the hole!!!

Went to a couple different local lakes today. Not a lot of activity on either one and never saw a fish. But what stood out the most was that on the lakes right now it's impossible to tell an open hole from ice.

The picture doesn't do it justice, and it was a lot easier to see the hole in the picture than real life. Even after we pushed the blocks in and marked the hole with brush it will still be open for a long time if we don't get cold weather to freeze em back up.

Be extra cautious when traveling areas that you know are speared. And please stay on marking your holes when you leave. I would hate to hear a story about one of us here or one of our kids going for a swim cause a hole wasn't marked.

This weather is tossing a wrench in the system big time. But these are the card we been dealt, so let's work with them.

Good luck!!
