I've seen them around, along with a lot of other knock off senko type lures. You can find some posts about them from recent weeks, and the consensus so far is that they are about as good, and a lot cheaper. I myself am going to stick to my guns and use the senkos, but those big bites and other lures are a good deal if they work for ya.

AJ
These are really good Senko replicas. I have been using them now for two summers. This year they started making about 40 colors so there was a lot to choose from. I bought about $120 worth this spring when they were .99 a bag at Gander. They are fantastic and hold up quite a bit better than actual Senkos.

Bought a bunch of the Big Bites at Gander when they have been on sale. Have not worked for me, especially when we were getting hook ups on Senko's & Bungee Worms.

Hopefully one of these days I will find teh bite and they will work as good if not better then the expensive Senko's

This is my second year of using them, no complaints, I have fished them along side a friend of mine who was using a senko and kept up bite wise, could be color not sure but they work well for me!

I picked up a couple bags of these but I haven't used them yet. As a matter of fact, they've been misplaced! Glad to hear they are working well for a few of you!

Lost, sounds like your name really does fit... wink.gif just teasing.

There are so many different "senko immitations" out there right now. So many of them work, but for some reason, the real senkos seem to just out fish the fake stuff for me. The real stuff is so much softer and wobble just a little more. With that said, I have found Case magic stiks to work really well... they have a similar texture and wobble as the original GY senkos.

Wow, I'm touched... me, a bass guide! AWESOME! I'm moving up in this crazy world of fishing...even if it's only one person who thinks I'm worthy! grin.gif LOL!

Lost, we can definitely hit some shore spots for smallies. I'm still kinda in the exploration phase for shore spots. I have a few in my pocket, but you can never have enough spots (plus you never know, there may be some out there that put the ones I have now to shame!) You're talking about Ramsey, I've been meaning to try a few spots up there in the Anoka & Elk River sections (and farther north too - but can start to get to be a haul for an evening outing!). I'll let you know when the "bass guide" is heading out wink.gif

Haha! The spot I was mainly thinking of is that stretch of the Mistersippi by the rest area and weigh station. Not sure if it's even worth trying to fish it but I suppose it's definitely worth taking a look for possibly structure.

Went out and picked up some more Big Bites. Why do I do this? I have a ton of plastics that I've never used before!

So who's gonna take me by the hand and show me how to use these things?

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
