smalliehunter
It's a lot of fun to look at this topic. You are a skilled decoy maker! Thank you for sharing.
Neighbor_guy
I also finished the Big Girl this weekend. It is by far the largest working decoy I have ever carved. I spent over a month working on it. Copper fins, brass eyes, and weighted to swim. 27.5" in total length and just a tick under 4lbs.
jasonmichalski
That's cool, lol
shamalex72
Nice work. That decoy is bigger than most of the fish I spear.

Neighbor_guy
Here are the results of the ones I showed in bondo in the carvers thread... I am planning on entering the fat body pike in a contest. The other notable in this group is the evolution of my bent body decoys. This one has a living rubber skirt for a little something different. I like it, but not sold on it yet. May need some further investigation. Thanks for looking.
Neighbor_guy
A handful of perch. The red one is about 7" the others are 9-10"
Neighbor_guy
A smaller minnow shape. Very slow swimmer. And some other random stuff...
Neighbor_guy
And the big'ns.... And a different perspective to show just how big they really are... They are 18 1/2" and 19" respectively. Tried to make the one more "natural". I'm not sure if I pulled it off, but that was the intent. As always thanks for looking.

Neighbor_guy
Couple new ones. First is a "die'ing sunfish" (flipper) 4.5" And an 8" red/white. then a couple spinners. These have been the most productive thing in my spear shack this year. The back view... MJ1657, mwal and jvm1
mwal
This is a spoon year for me as well.
jvm1
I just started using spoons but haven't seen a fish come to them yet. Then again I've been out 5 times this year and got skunked 3 so yeah. Hope this Saturday we get a busy hole, my 2 nephews are extremely excited to go! Neighbor_guy and MJ1657
