Rainy Lake Fishing

Just returned from our annual week at Rainy Lake. In all the years we have been going up there this was the WORST weather we have ever experienced up there. We had six straight days of NW 20-30mph winds, temps in the upper 30's to low 40's with intermittent rain and snow. Didn't take a ton of photos this year and actually used my Samsung S5 for video and stills for many shots with excellent results. No sunset photos this year because it was cloudy every night.

Fishing was slow most days but a couple of days made it more than a worthwhile trip. We will be back again next year.

8. We did hit one exceptional day of fishing, this guy had three fresh minnows in his mouth when caught.
