TB Quiverstick

Anyone have a quiverstick? How do you like it? I'm thinking of getting one with a tripwire end for both feel and sight.

I've got one and love it.

I think the tripwire is going to kill some of the "feel" that is built into the rod blank. I'd say keep it as is.

I built my quiverstick myself and used orange threads for the top two guides for sight, but it transmits hits well down the blank and mostly just go by feel.

I also have a TB Quiverstick with the syncork handel. one of the best panfish rods i own and one of the first i grab, don't know if you need a trip wire on it as its so light you can feel the water going up and down in your hole when a truck goes by, if i need to use a spring bobber i grab my st croix ultra light with a spring bobber on it. they will both put fish in the bucket.

The only reason would add a trip wire to that rod is if you fish outside with gloves on, are 82 with not as much feeling in your hands, or an 8 year old with ADD.........and maybe, just maybe...... the bite is just unbelievable crazy light

That's what I was thinking. I do a lot of outside fishing and if I did have gloves on and lost some of the sensitivity, at least I still have the trip wire on it. Almost for a back up.

They sell a rod called the sniffer. It's a quiverstick blank with a tripwire on it. Had it in stock at the store. I'm thinking about getting one,felt good.

At that point I'd probably get a panfish sweetheart with a tripwire.

I agree with others. If you want a spring just get the Tripwire rod. Quiverstick is mainly made for feel and the spring will mess up that feel.
