Franchi is based on the benelli platform rather than Beretta. I do not believe barrels interchange across brands. A slug barrel for my Beretta ran over $600 when I bought the gun and they are discontinued now but for that price you can get a nice dedicated slug gun IMHO.plus I don't believe the receiver is tapped for scope mounts either so there is added cost for that as well .
