Reel Repair

Recommended Posts

I've got several Quantum Hypercast reels. I love the functionality of these reels. Great for long casts.

The trigger feature tends to break down after a couple of seasons. I have several that are now repurposed on ice rods.

I would like to get them repaired and back to their original functionality. Has anyone tried this with these reels?

Quantum's web site says Robert Haik in Richfield is an authorized Quantum repair shop. Does anyone have experience with RH?

Not sure where you're located but there is a person in Pequot Lakes, MN that does a good job. He makes the rounds to some of the larger sporting good shop in the area that include Brainerd, Walker and Garrison. I'm not going to mention the name because he is not a sponsor on this HSOforum. You can PM me and I will gladly pass along the contact info.
