Mounting a scope on a Savage Mark II GL .22

I just bought my son a new Savage Mark II Gl and scope but Gander did not have the mounting hardware to mount the scope. The gun is drilled and tapped for a scope mount but that's it. The scope I bought has rings already so I just need the mounting hardware. Can anyone point me in the right direction? When I google this gun and scope mount I seem to get a long rail but the guy at Gander told me it would be 2 little pieces? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mark II /III's came in a one piece too Dave. Check Sheels or Runnings they may carry it. or the web.

Do you self a big favor and try and get leupold bases and rings for it. it will be the last set for that gun he would ever need.
