I am able to hunt 2 different areas that are both lottery areas. Am I able to apply for a doe permit in both areas just to increase my chances of getting one?

There is no clear cut answer in the regulations, but based on the procedure for applying for your doe permit, you can only apply in one zone per weapon.

The regs do allow you to apply for one rifle hunt and one muzzleloader hunt.

To answer your question, no, you can only apply to one zone.

You can only apply for one area per license!

For example, when purchasing your rifle license, you can apply for area XXX.

When you buy a muzzleloading license, you can apply for area OOO.

buy your firearms and muzzy licenses separately. During each purchase you will be asked what area you hunt the most....tell them a different area each time. At the end of the purchase you apply for the doe permit in the area you told them earlier.

Not saying it will increase your chances, but it will get you a ticket in two separate drawings.

I don't feel that way at all. In my areas there are a lot of does & fawns & I'm most likely not going to shoot one, so I hope somebody shoots some. I know the population is down in a lot places, but in 213 & 214 both it's rising on the properties I hunt.
