It's official: We get two bonus teal during the first 16 days of the season starting Sept. 27. I don't know about y'all, but I'm gunning for an 8-bluewing opener! ND waterfowl regs set

Did you read the outdoor news editorial on woodies? Some jackass said this was the reason for woodies declining, the additional 1 woodie from last year. Holy stupidity, I couldn't believe what I was reading.

Ironic the people shooting those woodies are the same ones putting out wood duck boxes and contributing to wildlife funds through stamps and licenses.

I am guessing that with the weather patterns we are seeing those bluewings will be gone before 9/27. So maybe 8 greenwings on opening day. I could be wrong, weather is as weather does.

Mr. Green Jeans would be writing you a ticket. The bonus teal must be blue wings which are easy to distinguish from their wings. The bonus BWT season was run in ND during the late 70s and early 80s.

WI has an extra experimental season for teal Sep 1-7. I'm all for more hunting but not sold on this idea
