New Reel

I has so many good comments regarding a new rod purchase that I'm going to ask opinions on a reel selection also. I've narrowed it down to the Shimano Sedona 500FD or the Pflueger President 6920x. Both look like nice reels? Any preferences and why? Thanks in advance for any replies.

those are both good reel. i personally prefer the pflueger to the sienna. the shimano sahara is a more fair comparison? have you seen the new trion tri20x? 7 bearings and quite a bargain at $29.99

Pretty tough to beat presidents I have 3 of them on jig rods.a bit spend but theyust work for me Cruz they've been locked up for a few years.

In my opinion, you can never go wrong with Shimano. Most of mine are Shimano's and they've never given me fits.

I prefer the Sedonas over the president...I have both,but I feel the sedona is smoother...Both are nice reels though
