I am looking for 2 spears, my other son and girlfriend want to start spearing.

I have 4 that I would like to know the real value (have kinda an idea but want to be accurate) and maybe sell them. All handmade, very collectable. Where would I get some accurate appraisals and info?

Please post some pictures when you get a chance. All of us spear collectors, and the spear makers here would really like to see what you have.

Tim Spreck would be a good resource to contact as well regarding the identification of makers of older spears and decoys. He is in the business of making money on the items he sells, so you would have to ask him to give separate prices on what the premium values would be, versus what a middle man could pay for them individually. He has been straightforward with me regarding this issue when I have contacted him about decoys in the past.
