By god that Northlander hawg Walleye lure works!

Had an interesting morning. Was out from 7-9:30am pulling a walleye spinner from a name brand company and leech and only got 2 pike. Throw on one of the Northlander hawg Walleye spinners I picked up at the swap meet and within an hour I had 3 keepers, lost two "my fault" and let one 26" go. All were from 20" to 26".

Just saying, I hope I don't lose the 3 I bought before next years swap meet!

I also did good on "sale find" tackle. I starte the day and couldn't get anything at all. I went though all kinds of lures. I eventually found a red/white rat l trap copy with one eye missing, that I got for 10 cents. It ended up pulling in all kinds of fish. A few pike, lots of bass, even a rock bass.

Boy, can't even get Northlander to make a visit on this one?

I will say that I do make one mod to these and the name brand worm harness spinners. I cut the second hook off and use them with a single hook with leech or minnow. Have been doing this for years and it works great!
