lawman
I need to transport a 55 inch Samsung flat screen TV 38 miles by truck. Can I lay it down on its back? I have an Avalanche and can lay it down on some padding if I need to.
Shack
I would try to transport standing up if possible. If on the back I would have some foam or pillows underneath and wrapped in a blanket and have the unit stable. Good luck!
Whoaru99
Not too sure about LED/LCD, but I do know that plasma TVs are supposed to be transported ONLY vertically.I would make every effort to transport vertically regardless of the type. Kidd
Glass of any kind should never be transported flat. As stated by Shack: "have some foam or pillows underneath and wrapped in a blanket and have the unit stable."
