It's been about 2 weeks now since I've had much activity but it was when the storms started too, maybe thats it? I had a ton of everything and poof-gone. We're they just the early migrators that kept going north?

Around our place they are active for about a month and then tend to fade into the woods. We have large pristine area (and it will ever be that way) and although they swarm the house and the feeders first thing in the spring they then disappear-but not really-we know they are in the deeper woods. For example: maybe a dozen orioles on several feeders (nectar and grape jam) and then two days ago BAM.....gone.

Still lots of other species. Indigo Bunting also around and now they gone.

Most distressing of all.....I have only seen ONE bluebird and several houses around the main grounds are NOT occupied as they usually are well before this.

Fortunately I am still able to depend on one species....Wild Turkey and it shows up every evening about 1700hrs.
