toughguy
I agree - lightly fried in butter as a side to fish, steak or venison is best. I'm going hunting this weekend. I hope I find em again this year.
pushbutton
Think my favorite is al dante cooked long wide egg noodles, hipster ones though, not the creamette. Lightly fried up shrooms in butter, onions, garlic. Throw that into a shallow pan with a beef stock. Let that simmer for 5 or so. Add some fresh earthy herbs like thyme, parsely, oregano, ect. Add noodles and a good chunk of goat cheese. Cook just a little more till the sauce thickens. A little of cornstarch if needed. Serve with fresh cracked pepper. ThunderLund78
Fry with butter, garlic and a little salt and put them on top of your favorite bratwurst. Do yourself a favor and go with a good meat market brat, save the Johnsonvilles for John Gillespie.
