Whateverzbitin
So I got a new to me boat this spring. On my old Lund Adventerer I always used one of these on the back corner of the boat. I had it mounted on that flat peice of metal were the side of the boat meets the transom. I loved having it there. It kept the anchor out of the way and made it easier to pull up. Problem is it dinged up my boat in that corner. I want to put it on my new boat, but don't want to ding it up. Other than a simple cleat are there other simply ideas for mounting a rear anchor? This is the type of boat I have.
leech~~
Why not mount it in the front with the crank in the back? I have seen a lot of guys do that and I find it better to anchor bow into the wind anyway.

Whateverzbitin
I do that too, but I like to have one in the back so if I am anchored and bobber fishing with multiple people I can keep the boat from swing around.

The anchormate 2 looks like it could be mounted in the back. So one on the bow and one on the back. The TV shows are sure pushing that talon/powerpole thing.
