Does anyone watch "Filthy Riches" On National Geographic Channel?

This technically could fall under Entertainment but since the whole show is about folks who make a living off the land either picking edibles or the like I thought it would make sense here. There is a couple who are on one of the Morel Forums who just search for mushrooms on the show. Then there are a couple of dudes in ME who are Bloodworm hunters and go out in the mudflats picking. Then there is a family in Kentucky who are searching for Ginseng root, thought that was kinda cool. And another is a couple dudes who are Burl Hunters out West. The last that I've seen is a guy in New York who is an Eel Trapper, who then smokes them and sells them in his shop.

Overall yes it has a bit of drama they add in but I like how it shows some cool ways to make a buck and think it is pretty cool. I think it just came out first part of April so it's only a few shows in.

I have yet to see the show, but I know Chris and Levena are NOT a couple. Levena is dating my buddy in WI. Chris runs the entire country looking for mushrooms, and makes his living doing so. If a show has Matherly in it, it has to be interesting.... wink

It is interesting to say the least. And good to know on the relationship status. The show just really plays out as they are a couple as they are hunting mushrooms..." with THEIR dog ....ok I forget the dogs name but the narrator calls it "their" dog."
