Neighbor_guy
Just got the bike back from the shop at lunch time today. Had the full gamut run on er, new skins, brakes, oil, carb, tune up. After not riding much of last year due to some work issues I am looking forward to the chance to ride again this summer. Normally I like to wait until mid may to take the 80mile ride to work and back so that the other drivers have a chance to get used to seeing bikes again, but because the shop didn't get everything done the day I trailered it down here I get to ride it home a few weeks early. I noticed when I picked it up that "tuned" must be a code word for "LOUD AS H!!" But it sounds nice compared to others, so I cant complain to much. I just wish the leathers still fit guess that's the motorcycle gods telling me to lay off the burgers. So heres to those of us who ride everyday... Cheers and have a good season. CANOPY SAM
Only have around 20-30 miles on mine as well John. We've only had a few days over 40 degrees, and the next 3-4 days are supposed to be cold, rainy and really windy.N-guy, I'm seriously considering doing the same thing with my bike this spring. New rubber, new battery and go thru the works with a fine toothed comb. Wanna trade her off for another bike in the next year or so, so getting her fine tuned would prolly be a good idea.I've heard it's supposed to be a hot dry summer, so let's hope they're right. Walleyehooker
Probably got about 100 miles on so far but just short commutes between the lousy weather. Like to see some nicer weather for some longer rides.
