camo blind matter?

Scoot

Recommended Posts

My nephews are coming to join in our turkey chase this afternoon. I don't have room in my hunting blind for all of us. Would it matter if I hunted out of a non camo blind? I've got a large pop up hub style fish house I could use. Thoughts?

Depending on the color, I would simply brush it in.

Really does not matter what I have used for a ground blind, I just try to cover up as much of the blind as I can to make it blend in the best. Big bunch of branch's usually works pretty good.

Can't hurt to brush it in and it usually only take a few minutes.

Good luck Scoot or Scoot Jr.

I wouldn't worry much at all, when i use my blind i pop in on the edge of the field and they walk right up to it. They don't seem to mind much as long as its not moving.

On a side note had one nice one up to the kid and it busted us moving for a shot, came good. But other spot seen birds but not at all interested in calling, not even a gobble or puffed out, just was out feeding.

I would say they will get more excited soon, seen a few birds but not much out and about this morning.

Thanks guys. We heard gobbles this morning, but didn't see any gobblers. Had a hen inside of 40 yards for 2 hours- very fun for both my son and me. Back in the blind now.
