Hydroseeding costs ?

Not sure per acre but it isn't cheap. I think a regular city lot at around 1/4 acre runs around $1,000.

If you are around the metro Brian at The Lawn Firm does awesome work. We have been working with him for 15 years and always get solid feedback.

That is about what I heard after asking a guy who had an outfit from Brainerd come all the way down here to do his. He had 4 acres seeded and it ran almost $4000/acre for the entire process. He thought it might be cheaper with someone locally but no one close by was doing it that he could find. His lawn does look absolutely fantastic. They did a nice job.

.10 per square foot is the average rate bases on what I found last year. I had mine done early august of last year. 1800 sq ft...$1800. That was with me prepping everything and doing a final rake.

My yard turned out great after just a few months. Looking forward to seeing how it looks this year. I used hydroseeding creations.

I think one thing with hydroseeding is you want to keep it damp constantly and not let it dry out. Is your one acre set up with sprinklers?

Well, from what I know you will want to water 3-4 times a day for 15 min or so to keep the hydroseed mulch constantly damp. If you can drag hoses around then that may work, but probably best ask one of the companies you are having coming out. Might be worth a call to them before they come on site.

311 hemi, you said .10 sq/ft was the going rate? Did you mean $1.00? According to your post, you paid a $1.00.

How effective is it to spray over an existing lawn? Same price?

Sorry, I left out a 0 in my previous post. I did 18000 sq/ft.....at .10 sq/ft.

I can't answer your other questions, that would be a call to someone who does it.
