A old friend of mine was telling me his grandfather use to spear now this would of been back in the 1920s or 30s He took a black and white porcelain door knob and put a spring in between when he tugged the string the door knobs would clack together that's all he used for a decoy kind of cool I had to try and make one thought I would share Fish4u

Very cool. The guy that showed me how to spear used hand carved decoys and spun a prince Albert can. I wonder what other weird things have been used to attract pike.

Just goes to show, spend hours carving, shaping, painting, trying to get every detail perfect. Or, put a couple door knobs together. If mr pike is curious he's comming in to take a look.
