SE MN conditions are ??

Looking to make the annual trip to the SBRR. I'm here in Chicago and I know we have 9 days to go but what can you say about conditions currently?

I get it, the Chicago reference. True, this is where I live but spent the first 23 years in MN. Still visit often. Taking the boys & a new dad camping and fishing at The Barn Resort. Annual deal since college 20+ years ago.

I haven't been down there but from what I've been reading water levels are normal but slightly muddy. Hopefully everything clears up in a week if we don't get any heavy rain.

Waters up a little bit, but not too bad. It is very stained in most places I checked the other day. We do have a winter storm coming in tonight so that will complicate things as well.

well I was out there this weekend and it was not good, the water was super stained and the fish did not seem to see anything. fishing was really bad, between two days I caught zero trout. by buddy caught two small browns.

Was there Friday,Sat and Sun. Huge rainstorm on Saturday morning and river was chocolate milk 3 hours later. Could not see yellow jig half inch under water. Caught and released fish on Friday. 6 of caught 29 before rain. Only 4 over 12 inches. One guy in party got a 19.5 inch brown. Released. Not a bite after rain and we fished hard and walked lots. No one else we talked to had much luck either.
