mrpike1973
hi i have a g3 aluminum boat it has 2 shelves if you will. where you can put a battery box. the battery box comes with mounting hardware you know the one the strap goes through and you mount it to the boat. i'm wondering i've done these in the past the plastic holders always break on me. can i just run a couple of screws right in the box straight down to hold the box then just use the strap like normal i believe this would hold it more secure thanks
BoxMN
That is what I would do, and have done. If it is in area that can get wet, I always also drill some holes in the bottom for water to escape. You can put the screws right through the strap too...
