Boxcar Wllie
During this time of year, where do you typically setup (depth wise) and how deep do you run them? I have a few buddies headed my way this wknd and want to chase some flags....
20lbSloughShark
You will have to describe the lakes a little more. On lakes that get over 50', I have been finding them 6'-15', often on the weed line. They go a lot deeper than that though. Shallower lakes it can depend. Some pike are heading out deeper for more oxygen, or more food. Some you can find them in a foot of water. Put live bait at least 2' off the bottom. Bait about 6"-8" long will get you the most flags, but don't be afraid to put down a 10"+ bait. A 3 pound pike can still eat a foot long sucker.
