Tiny Bugs?

On the base of my tiled shower I have noticed these little tiny bugs. You have to really look to see them. This is the only place I've seen them.

Any idea?

Probably need to post a picture of them. Kinda hard to make an accurate conclusion with just "tiny bugs"

But they are probably a mite that is attracted to moisture and mold. Give your shower a good cleaning and maybe a mold killer if you have any mold or mildew and also pour boiling hot water down your drain a few times.

Almost forgot to mention, if it has been a couple years since you sealed your grout put a fan in the shower for a day or two then seal with grout sealer. That should take care of the moisture problem.

Look up "drain flies" to see pictures and find solutions. Basically they are a bug the size of a fruit fly that will breed in drain traps.

We get drain flies in this chunk of the prairie all the time.

Dump some bleach down the drain and it gets rid of them. Helps clean out the drain at the same time.
