That is the modified Albright knot been using it for several years simple fast and stronger than uni to uni. I have shown it to many people the only thing is if you use nanofil do about 15 wraps as it is extremely slippery. Using 11 works great for power pro. His video really show how easy it is to tie thanks for posting. Another good knot for flouro and drop shoting is the Eugene bend as demonstrated by Shaw Grigsby. Very strong and easy make an audible click when tied right. IT keeps hook sticking out and is stronger than polamar knot in flouro. With the modified albright and the eugene bend tying the tackle on, the leader usually does not break at a knot.

Yep the mod Albright is definitely the way to go!

This is not quite the modified Albright knot because it doesn't have wraps back towards the loop so it is actually a modified modified Albright knot. I have had very good luck with the real modified Albright knot using 8 wraps up and 8 wraps back.

True I did not watch till the end as I was at work. I wrap mine back the other way equal number of wraps.

I can't tie an Albright knot in my garage much less in a hurry on the water but hey I like the way this eugene bend knot works on a drop shot, here's the video for you folks that don't know it yet.

Switched to that exact knot last year. Solid and easier for me to tie with cold hands.

beef, that second vid with Shaw is actually a double Eugene Bend.. I pretty much use the eugene bend not 99% of the time.

We use the eugene bend when fly fishing when using multiple fly rigs as the flies stick out 90 degrees from leader and its easy to tie. Its now my only knot for flouro except for snelling on a lindy rig
