597ci HD DI ice package? Whats the opinions on them?

So have anyone bought and how do you like it? How do you feel it compares to a new vex or marcum flasher? How is the interference when being used around other flasher units?

Really interested because I could use my lakemaster chip for a my 858 hd di and have a another graph in the boat.

I have the 597 ci HD and actually just used it for the first time on the ice yesterday w/ a Marcum next to it. The interference was not bad at all. I have the lakemaster chip in it and it's especially nice in the truck driving around knowing where the breaks are and what depth without drilling any holes. Love it!

thats my big reason for wanthing it over a marcum or a vex. being able to use it on my four wheeler or in my truck with the chip. Does the unit lag at all? I mean is it real time like a normal flasher?

I have the 597 ci HD.....only finder ive ever owned (just started fishing 3 years ago), don't regret the purchase one bit, have navionics chip in it as well. works great for open water and ice, decent graph without spending thousands

I have the unit. Bought it for my boat then boat ice package. Its awesome of there isn't a Vexilar around if there is just turn it off.
