Hard Propane Tank Covers

Anybody ever see hard covers for 40# tanks? I've checked a bunch of places and finding only 30# covers. The soft covers can't flex in the cold, mine are shredding already.

Io purchased a hard cover go 30 pounders yesterday and saw 1 hard shell for a 40 pound double tank set up but cannot find it again. I searched for some on e bay, amazon and Google and found nothing other than the vinyl. I know there is 1 out there and if I find it again, I will post the link.

Amazon, Campingworld, The E site, others...search 40# propane tank cover. They are around $35

Those are all soft covers, hards only go to 30#ers.

I don't believe they make the hard plastic covers for 40 lbers but I have seen a few houses with custom covers made with aluminum diamond plate. I am sure they are rather spendy but if it keeps your tank and regulator clean and prevents them from being stolen they would be worth it.

I made a covered insulated box for my 40#s. Couldn't find a hard plastic either.

You can find them for a dual tank setup, but if you are looking to just cover a single tank I don't think they make them. Otherwise if you google rv parts, you will find many options
