nortin1962
Hey guys,Have a question about my Marcum LX2. I bought a battery today for it as a spare and when I got home and pulled out my old battery its a 12v 6.5a and the new one is 12v 9 amp. this may sound stupid but can I use this battery? any feedback would be great. BartmanMN
Yes. You purchased a better/longer lasting battery.
dfeste
The battery is fine. Better than the one it's replacing in fact. 12v is 12v the ah rating just means it will last longer between charges.

CaptainMusky
You did the "Tim the Toolman Taylor" routine! Bigger is better!!
brian6715
I am no electronics expert, but in theory that battery should last about 38.5% longer than your original. Nice upgrade
