Sherman
I have the newer style strikemaster mag 2000 with the black placstic handles. After I rebuilted the carburetor, as I was trying to tune the carburetor I lost the high jet speed screw. I looked everywhere and seems that the part is either not in stock or been discontinued. So I am wondering if anybody have a broken carburetor sitting around and willing to sale me the little screw? On my carburetor it only has the HI side and no LOW side. So if someone do have one PM me and we can work something out. Its been sitting since thanks giving.

jentz
That aint no little micro part,How can you lose it?Get a magnet and sweep the area you worked on it.Chech small engine shops,OR just buy a whole carb. What carb is it? Brand and model number,I have a few WalBros laying around, some off Jiffys with tecumseh engines. But a brand name and model# may lead to a supplier that sells just the needle. Sherman
Model # TM049XA-3637D ( 8113CA. Carburetor # 640347. I was adjusting it on my porch and when the engine was running I guess with all the vibrations, the screw fell out and down under my porch. I went under and tried looking for it twice. With all the leaves, debris and dark I found nothing. I tried D-Rock and same result (discontinued).

jentz
sherman thats where a sweeping magnet comes in handy.I cant say how many times I found dropped parts EVEN in the gravel driveway! Try that first and I'll look at the carbs I got saved for parts.A guess is I have one but the other end is it a shot or rebuidable carb? BigFish1
I have a strikemaster power head that I will sell you for cheap. It is the mad tecumsah engine like you have. The power head actually runs well, but bogs down while drilling. I want to keep the auger bit though. I will be in Roseville over the weekend if you want to get together and take a look at it.
